Papertrey Ink: Stitched Gift Bag

Image
Hello, I'm back today to share a sweet little project using the Stitched Gift Bag Die from Papertrey Ink!  This die set is an absolute must-have in your stash because it has the capability of making 3 different gift bags!  How great is that!  For my project, I used the eye-shaped bottom which is the medium size for this bag.  It gives you a little more room to stuff it with fun goodies for the recipient!  To create my bag, I used the Simply Chartreuse Felt for the front, back and bottom.  Then I added the scalloped handle pieces die cut in Aqua Mist Felt.  I absolutely love this color combo!   To finish the front of the bag, I decided to add a sweet pink bow using the Seasonal Stitching Bow Die .  This looks so sweet in Hibiscus Burst and Raspberry Fizz.  I just love how this turned out!  Such a great way to present a special gift for any occasion!   Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to join us at the Facebook Stitching Club!   Products Used: Stitched Gift Bag Die Seasonal

Papertrey Ink In Stitches: Plush Turtle Die

Hello, I'm back today sharing a fun project using the Plush Turtle Die from Papertrey Ink.   I used Aqua Mist and Ocean Tides Felt to cut and stitch the turtle's body.  The die set comes with the pattern for the top of the turtle's shell, making it so quick and easy to add detail to your project!  For a fun whimsical look, I added a cluster of stitched flowers using the Stitched Floral Clusters Die.  I chose bright colors to give a summer vibe (Hibiscus Burst, Summer Sunrise, and Simply Chartreuse).  For the centers of the flowers, I added some cute yellow buttons, giving the project dimension and interest (Lemon Tart).   I just love how this project turned out.  This would make a sweet little ornament to hang on the side of a gift bag or a fun addition to a tiered trey.  So cute!   Be sure to join the  Stitching Club Facebook Group where we share lots of stitching ideas, tips, and tricks! Papertrey Ink In Stitches : Birdhouse Die

Image
Hello!  I'm sharing a fun stitching project using the In Stitches: Birdhouse Die from Papertrey Ink. I have to say, this die was so easy to use!  It cut through the felt effortlessly and the pieces fit together so easily! To create this sweet little ornament, I used the Harvest Gold Felt for the base of my house.  Using the flower dies included in the set, I stitched on some pink flowers and leaves using the Rasberry Fizz and Simply Chartreuse felt.  For the circle opening on my house, I die cut a circle using the Aqua Mist felt and placed it near the top of my house.  Some Classic Kraft was the perfect color for the roof.  In order to create the border across the bottom of the house, I die cut a piece of the roof and just trimmed it to fit.  Such an easy detail to add a bit of character and variation.  To finish off this sweet project, I added some Cream Twine, tied it into a bow and topped it with a little button from the Lemon Tart Buttons Pack.   I just love how this turned out
