Papertrey Ink Buid-a-Lamb

 Hello,

I'm here today sharing 3 fun projects using the new Build-a-Lamb Die set from Papertrey Ink.  This set is so versatile because it allows you to create a stitched project or a layered embellishment without the stitching.  The best of both worlds!

For my projects today, I created 3 different looks using the stitching dies in this set.  I love that you can get so many different styles of stitched projects just by changing the products used.

For my first project, I decided to create a cute little tag.  I used the Quilted Tag Die and cut some card stock in white.  Then I layered on some yellow gingham paper in the background and added my felt lamb embellishment to the top using hot glue.  To create the lamb, I die cut the background layer in white card stock and then cut the rest of the pieces out of felt.  Using embroidery thread, I layered the pieces together and stitched them together.  A sweet little pink bow and button in the center of the flower, add the perfect final touches.

For my second project, I created an A2 sized card.  I die cut my lamb from card stock and stitched it together using embroidery thread.  Then I layered on some die cut flowers and adhered them to the neck of my lamb.  So cute!  I used some cute striped paper for the background of my card and used the woodgrain paper across the bottom to ground my image.  Then I stamped my sentiment below and added a cute little page flag and button to the corner.  Such a sweet little card for someone special!

My final project is a little plush lamb.  I die cut the lamb from felt and stitched it together with embroidery thread.  Before closing it completely, I added some polyfill to the center and attached some bakers twine to the top.  This would be the cutest little ornament to dangle off a package for a baby shower!  Absolutely adorable!
