Papertrey Ink In stitches: Acorn Die
Hello! Fall is here and today I'm sharing some sweet little projects that make the cutest little gifts! These Apple Cider pouches are just adorable and they're so quick and easy to make! To begin, I started with some patterned paper and sized it to fit the Apple Cider packets I picked up at the grocery store. I cut the paper into strips and folded in half. Then I stitched down each side with my sewing machine to create a custom pouch. Next, I die cut the In Stitches Acord die from solid colored cardstock and then again from felt. See below for all the colors I used. I stitched the felt to the cardstock using coordinating embroidery floss and glued the top of the acorn to the bottom. You can stitch these two together, but for this project, it was just as easy to use hot glue. A cute little button and some twine add adorable finishing touches to the acorns.
